Mohamed Aden Abdi is a highly respected human resource management professional, strategist, and public leader with over 15 years of progressive experience shaping organizational culture, performance systems, and people-focused governance. With a passion for empowering individuals and institutions, Mohamed has built a career that bridges both private-sector execution and public-sector accountability—placing people at the heart of strategic transformation.

As the Founder and Director of Rightways Consulting Limited, Mohamed has led impactful interventions across multiple sectors, supporting organizations in areas such as human resource systems design, performance management, strategic planning, and occupational health and safety. Through this work, he has personally trained over 1,000 professionals and mentored more than 100 HR practitioners, many of whom have grown into leadership positions across Kenya. His facilitation style is grounded, practical, and results-driven—delivering more than training, but a mindset shift that supports lasting institutional change.

Mohamed’s long-standing corporate leadership experience includes his tenure as Human Resource and Administration Manager at Soliton Telmec Limited, where he served for over a decade. There, he led successful organizational change efforts, championed employee engagement programs, and established award-winning safety practices. He authored and published over 15 internal articles focused on workplace safety, HR innovation, and productivity—contributing to both internal learning and sector-wide influence.

Deeply committed to professional standards, Mohamed has served as a Board Member of the Human Resource Management Professionals Examinations Board (HRMPEB), where he has helped certify over 3,000 HR professionals in Kenya. His contributions have strengthened the integrity and recognition of HR as a strategic profession critical to national development.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Business Management from Moi University, and a Higher National Diploma in HRM. He is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP-K) and holds an International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH)—credentials that reflect both his technical mastery and dedication to continuous growth.

In January 2025, Mohamed was appointed as a Commissioner of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) by His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Kenya to represent county governments.
